Brazilian new coach Carlo Ancelloti is targeting to win the 2026 World Cup after he was inaugurated by former world champions on Monday.
Ancelloti left Real Madrid after the end of the La Liga season, and said he was “honored and proud to lead the best team in the world”.
Brazil has won the World Cup five times, with the latest victory in 2002, and Ancelotti’s first match with them was two qualifiers of the South American World Cup.
“I have a big job in front of me,” he said.
“I am happy, the challenges are great. I always have a special relationship with this team. We will work to make Brazilian champions again.”

Italy has won the Champions League on three occasions and the La Liga title twice over the two spells responsible for Real Madrid.
He also guided AC Milan to become European champions twice, won the Premier League and the FA Cup with Chelsea and the French and German domestic titles with Paris St-Germain and Bayern Munich respectively.
The 65 -year -old man was launched as Brazilian boss in a press conference at the Brazil Football Confederation (CBF) headquarters.
