Haaland scores 100th goal as Man City force 10-man Arsenal to draw

Erling Haaland scored his 100th goal as Manchester City held 10-man Arsenal to a 2-2 draw in the Premier League.

The top-of-the-table clash played at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday saw the hosts score a 97th-minute equaliser as Arsenal held on until the end of stoppage time.

It was John Stones who scored a last-gasp equaliser amid chaos and controversy to deny Arsenal a stunning win over City.

Haaland opened the scoring in the ninth minute to take his 100th goal for Manchester City, but the game soon turned on its head as Arsenal fought back.

Leandro Trossard then received a second yellow card and was sent off in first-half stoppage time.

With 10 men, Arsenal played a solid defensive game throughout the second half and stopped all Manchester City attempts to score until the last minute of added time when John Stones managed to secure a point for his side.

Earlier in the day in another Premier League meeting, Brighton and Nottingham Forest played out a 2-2 draw.
