Houston Man accused of murder of Elizabeth Odunsi

Chester Lamar Grant, 40, was accused of the murder of the 23 -year -old Elizabeth Odunsi.

The crime took place at 6510 GOFORTH STREET on April 26 and is investigated by the murder division of the Houston police department.

Grant has now faced the trial in the 176th state district court, according to the city of Houston.

The patrol agents of the Houston police department responded to a wellness control in a complex of apartments.

“The HPD patrol officers were called in a residence in the complex of apartments above for a welfare control. They knocked on the door but they did not receive an answer. The agents discovered the blood on the rear cement patio and entered the apartment. The victim was discovered on the kitchen floor with multiple stuff wounds.” The agents found Odunsi, who had been stabbed to death, and Grant, who had at least one stabbed wound, as reported by the city of Houston.

Elizabeth Odunsi was found deceased in Goforth Street and Grant was seriously injured and brought to the hospital. After further investigations by investigators H. Martinez and S. Chettry, Grant was identified as the main suspicion. He was arrested last Friday, a few days after the accident. The investigation is underway, as stated by the city of Houston.
