Judge Binta Nyako from the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, gave a guarantee to a Veronica Ekeh, who was a court of alleged human trafficking.
He, however, returned the woman’s husband to the Correctional Center in Abuja.
The judge, in his decision on the guarantee application submitted by the couple’s lawyer, Mr. J. Obanwude, said the woman was given a guarantee because he was pregnant.
Eseh is given a guarantee in the number of N10 million and two supersies in the same amount.
Nyako said: “Gravity of this violation is serious, but I have recorded the medical condition of my wife, and so I have to provide guarantees.
“Guarantees are determined in the number of N10 million and two guarantees in the same amount and one of the mushrooms must live in Abuja and must have verified work facilities.”

He also ordered that the defendant could not leave Abuja without permission from the court.
He postponed this problem until June 26 for further hearing.
Previously, Obanwudeh had urged the court to recognize his client to guarantee liberal conditions.
Lawyers argue that although guarantees must be given on court policies, it is a constitutional right that is entitled to his client.
This, he added, was to allow them to prepare themselves adequately for their trials.
However, the legal counsel, HM Esa, prayed that the court denied guarantees to the defendants because the alleged violations were very serious.
“They were tried because of the alleged trade and export of a young girl to Burkina Faso for prostitution,” he said.
