“I am back to full fitness,” he declares David Stockbrink while receiving the call from flying eagles before the U-20 World Cup

Nigerian youth sensation David Stockbrink has been invited to the Flying Eagles U-20 training camp, which will begin on August 18 in Abuja.

The camp is in preparation for the next FIFA U-20 World Cup In Chile in 2025.

The invitation, signed by Mohammed Maikano on behalf of the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), demands that Stockbrink be one to other possible players as their preparations before the tournament begin.

This news occurs when Stockbrink makes a triumphant return to action.

In a recent warm-up match between the Senior Senior team and the U-21 team, he scored the opening goal and provided two assists, which led the senior team to a 2-0 victory.

The young striker, who stood out for the U-19 and U-21 teams of the club since he joined in January 2025, is now being considered for a place in the senior team, which competes in the Dutch Eerste divisie.

After the party, Stockbrink expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to represent his country. “I am very happy to receive this invitation to join the Flying Eagles camp for the World Cup,” he said.

“I really want to have the opportunity to play for Nigeria and I will do my best. He returns to full physical condition after my reverse for injuries and I will do my best in the colors of Nigeria.”
