I want Fubara to be deleted, but Tinubu saves his job – wike

Federal Capital Region Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, said on Friday that the Tinubu Ball President saved the work of the Governor of Rivers, Siminilayi Fubara.

Wike, who spoke during the media chat in Abuja, said he wanted Fubara to be removed directly as governor, but the President interfered with the imposition of emergency rules in oil -rich countries.

President Tinubu, on March 18, stated an emergency rules in the river over the prolonged political crisis in the state.

He also suspected the governor, his deputy, and member of the Rivers State Council for six months for their role in the crisis.

In the media chat, the former governor revealed that Fubara had not contacted him since his suspension.

He said: “As a politician, I am not happy with an emergency in the state of Rivers.

“I want the transfer of Governor of Fubara. The President, by declaring an emergency, saves Fubara.

“However, people must say the truth. The governor is gone. He leaves, yes … so when people say the president does this, I say they must praise him.

“Every morning, they have to go to the president and ask, ‘Can we wash our feet to save us?

“Is there anyone who took it yourself to say, ‘This is where we are?

“If I am the cause of the problem, has he (Fubara) ever called me as an elder to say what the problem is? Let’s sit and talk.”
