Federal Capital Region Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, said on Thursday that he would not force a commissioner to the Governor of the State Rivers who returned, Siminaayi Fubara.
Fubara returned to the office on Thursday after he completed the six -month suspension imposed by President Bola Tinubu.
The president on Wednesday raised an emergency imposed on the river on March 18 over a prolonged political crisis in an oil -rich state.
Wike, who appeared on the television program of the channel, Politics Today, said he would not interfere in the Fubara administration.

The minister stressed that the governor must be allowed to govern the river state without external intervention.
Wike said: “I can’t go and force anything on the governor. Why do I force something to the governor?
“Assuming I went to the governor and said, ‘I want this,’ will the country collapse? I will not. I have no candidates, and I will not do it.”
