A police officer on duty with the IMO State Police Command, Sergeant Anayo Ekezie, has been deployed from public anger as a reaction to the video showing officers installed on a safer road unit from the command that attacks a man along Jalan Ootri -Aba.
In the viral video, three police officers were seen attacking the victims while the SERSAN who were deployed were seen slapping and kicking the man who seemed to be a passenger in a commercial vehicle.

Okoye stated that following the video review, the order conducted an orderly room trial in accordance with the Nigerian Police disciplinary procedure.
” Sergeant Anayo Ekezie was found guilty of using the smoke shooter issued in the attack and had been deployed to the rank of Corporal.
