In the curious twist, the Nigerian government dropped a criminal case against Emmanson, facilitating flight ban on KWAM 1

The federal government has attracted its criminal complaints against Ms. Comfort Emmanson, who was accused of conducting behavior that was not in accordance with IBOM air flights, and reduced the ban on the flight worn in musician Fuji, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as Kwam 1.

Minister of Aviation Development and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, San, announced a decision on Wednesday after consultation with stakeholders in the aviation industry.

According to Keyamo, the resolution follows an incident review, appeal from the individual concerned, and the expression of regret by those involved.

He confirmed that Ibom Air had agreed to attract his complaint against Ms. Emmanson, who was arrested for interference on August 10 on the flight.

“When the police took his statement in front of his lawyer, he showed a big regret for his behavior,” the Minister said.

The one -month prohibition will also apply to Captain Valuejet Oluranti Ogoyi and first officer Ivan Oloba, who will be restored after a professional re -assessment.

Keyamo further announced that the retreat would be held next week to train flight security personnel about managing passengers who were disturbing and eliminating tense situations. The airline will also participate in a special session that handles staff behavior towards travelers.

The minister stressed that Clemencies were given with loving reasons, noted: “The government will never be a broker to base sentiments, a view that is political motivated or bending legal opinions when a clear encroachment of our law is involved.
