INDEPENDENCE DAY: APC acknowledges economic hardship, urges Nigerians to endure temporary inconveniences for long-term gain

The All Progressives Congress (APC) extended strong support to the government’s bold policy decisions, which it considers crucial to resetting the country’s economic and national landscape.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by Felix Morka, Esq, National Publicity Secretary, APC, the party emphasized the importance of these reforms in achieving growth and prosperity for all Nigerians.

“The administration is making bold and difficult policy decisions that are not only essential but inevitable, if we are to reset the fundamentals of our economic and national life, for the growth and prosperity we deserve,” Morka said.

According to Morka, these reforms have started to produce positive results, as stated by the President in the Independence Day broadcast. “This reform is starting to produce results in the form of clarity, growth and progress for our nation,” he said.

However, the APC acknowledged that some of these reforms had caused temporary economic inconvenience to the people. In response, the President has promised to continue mitigating and reducing the impact. “Mr. President maintains a strong commitment to do all that is necessary… until the living conditions and general well-being of all people improve significantly,” Morka assured.

APC urges Nigerians to be patient and continue to support the government’s efforts. “We urge Nigerians to be patient and maintain their invaluable support for this government,” Morka said.
