India stops the Nigerian woman with 1.8 billion people drugs

An Nigerian hairdresser and 25-year-old nail artist, Ifeoluwa Akinwunmi, was arrested by the India Anti-Christmas wing of the Central Bureau of Investigation to be in possession of 5.325 kilograms of MDMA crystals, estimated for a value of RS 10 crores (over N1.8 billion).

According to the results, Akinwunmi arrived in India in October 2021 with a business visa, but later he got a visa for students to study in a University of Telangana.

However, he never enrolled and was illegally overloaded in the country since his visa expired in 2022.

However, he denied knowing the contents in the bag, stressing that a friend in Delhi had ordered her to deliver it to a man who wore a black hat.

According to her, she planned to start a salon activity in Bengaluru and identified herself as the daughter of a Nigerian official, although she refused to provide further personal details.

“We noticed four men on two scooters in the area, but they did not collect the package. The princess was arrested while standing with the bag.

“There are credible leads on his boyfriend in Delhi, who is currently on the run. He will be taken into custody by the police for further investigations.

“This is the first case recorded against her in the city and we still have to check if there are cases elsewhere in the country,” said the police officer to the new Indian Express.
