Inec revealed the details of the candidate for the Anambra Governor Election

The Independent National Election Commission (Inec) has issued the personal details of the candidates for the November 8 Governor Election in the State of Anambra.

National Commissioner and Chair of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Sam Oluumekun, revealed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

He said 16 political parties succeeded in submitting a nomination for the governor and deputy candidate of their governor before the deadline for May 12.

According to him, the details of the candidate were displayed at the State Headquarters of Inec and all 21 local government offices in all States of Anambra.

In particular, it includes academic credentials and other related documents submitted by the candidates.

Some candidates are:

* Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (APC)
* Charles Soludo (APGA)
* Dr. George Moghalu (Labor Party)
*Jude Ezenwafor (PDP)
*Paul Chukwuma (YPP)

The statement reads: “We ask the Nigerians to examine the documents. Every candidate who participates in the preliminary selection of his party for reason to believe that the information provided by a wrong candidate can challenge the nomination in the Federal High Court as stipulated in Section 29 (5) of Electoral Act 202,” The statement was read.

“The final candidate list will be issued on June 9, 2025, which is at least 150 days before the election day in line with the provision of Article 32 (1) Election Law 2022 and registered as item 7 on our schedule and schedule for the election.

“The Election of the Governor of the State Anambra is scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025.”
