IPOB to honor Biafra Heroes by sitting at home on May 30

The native Biafra (IPOB) has stated that there will be a total locking and sitting in a house in southeast on May 30 to mark the anniversary of the annual Biafra Heroes.

This group held a Biafra commemoration day to respect the victims of the 1967-70 civil war in Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Monday by the Secretary of the Media and Publicity, Emma Powerful, the group said that day was to commemorate all Biafran heroes and female heroes who lost their lives in the struggle for self -determination and independence during and after the Civil War. “

He added that all governors in the southeast and south-south had been told about the planned locks, while activities that lined up that day included lectures to respect the Biafran hero, both in Nigeria and abroad.

The statement reads: “IPOB’s leadership has announced that May 30, 2025, will be a free day, marking the total locks for Biafrans who live in the land of Biafran.

“The highlight of the annual commemoration and commemoration will occur on May 30, 2025, known as Biafra Heroes Memorial Day.

“This is the day appointed by Ipob for Biafrans to commemorate and pay respect to heroes, female heroes, and those who sacrifice their lives in the struggle for the liberation and independence of Biafra.

IPOB and Ndigbo throughout the world will pay homage to all our heroes and heroes who fall, including our eternal leader, the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, General Phillip Effiong, Head of Dr. Frank Opigo, Ikonso Commander, and many others who contribute significantly and fight for genocing, and many people contribute to Gen. their allied forces.

“Every year on May 30 is an important day for all Biafrans. This is a general holiday for every Biafra citizen and non-citizen who lives in the Biafra region.

“Biafrans who lives in the land of Biafra must observe locking to pay homage to those who struggle and perish in the Nigerian genocide war against Biafra, while Biafrans struggles for our independence.

“We need to commemorate them by spending one day indoors. We urge all Biafrans and every extending freedom in the land of Biafra to comply with the direction of the locking one day on May 30, 2025.

“All members of the IPOB family in various countries they must organize and get permission to show the sentence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who violated the law and illegal detention of Nnamdi Kanu in Nigeria.

“There will be no school, there are no community meetings, no religious services, no market and shop opening, and there are no general assemblies in any form. Stay inside and enjoy television and videos with your family while reflecting on the memories and genocide caused by Biafrans from 1967 until now.

“This is a day for families to tell their experiences about the Biafran genocide war from 1967 to 1970 and Victimization, Destruction, and Sustainable Marginalization of Ndigbo in Nigeria.

“IPOB has contacted the West African Examination Board, WAEC, to tell them about the locking instructions on May 30, so they can modify the SSCE exam schedule May/June to serve all students.

“The message has also been sent to the governor in the southeastern and south-south regions to tell them that we will remember and pay homage to our heroes and heroes who sacrifice everything for us with the locking mandate on May 30, 2025.”

The group also warned of public protests in the region or other parts of Nigeria to avoid violence or confrontation with security forces.

“Pay attention. There is no protest that will occur in Biafra or anywhere in Nigeria to prevent disadvantaged by the deadly Nigerian security forces. Biafrans abroad will gather on their host countries or hold a city hall meeting to express their support in respecting our heroes who fall and advocate Biafra recovery.

“IPOB prioritizes Ndigbo’s welfare and has found a method to prevent the Nigerian state from killing our people when we continue to remember and celebrate our heroes.

“Locking will take place from 6 am to 6 pm
