IPOB warns S’East governors not to allocate grazing reserves to Miyetti Allah

The banned Igbo separatist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has warned South-East governors against acceding to the latest demand by the Miyetti Allah group to be allocated grazing reserves in the region following the creation of the Ministry of Livestock Development by President Bola Tinubu.

Biafran agitators, in a statement on Saturday issued by their Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said “no governor in Biafra land should mortgage the safety and security of Biafrans by allocating land to terrorists for RUGA in disguise; anyone who does so will face the wrath of the group.

IPOB also reminded the Nigerian government and Miyetti Allah that “the Biafran people do not have enough land for development and agriculture, let alone for grazing reserves.”

“The royal family and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement led by the great prophet and steadfast leader, Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu, wishes to warn the Eastern Region Governors to ignore the latest demand by the Miyetti Allah terrorist group for governors to allocate grazing reserves in their respective States,” the statement read.

“No governor in Biafra Land should mortgage the safety and security of Biafrans by allocating land to terrorists for disguised RUGA.

“The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) calls on the Southern and Middle Belt Governors to reject the demand for pasture lands by the Fulani Miyetti Allah terrorist organization in Nigeria.

“The Fulani claim to be Nigerians. Why do they want pasture from another state instead of using their own ancestral land for their pasture?

“President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, who established the Ministry of Livestock for the Fulani, should allocate grazing reserves to them. The Ministry of Livestock is the code name for RUGA. No RUGA in any format will be tolerated in the Eastern Region.

“President Tinubu can allocate Sambisa Forest as a grazing area for the Miyetti Allah tribe. The vast forest is more than enough to be used as a grazing area and settlement for them.

“The Fulani may take control of Nigeria’s Fulani presidential government, but the indigenous people must resist any attempt to take over their ancestral lands in the name of Fulani reserves and settlements. The Fulani are opposed to the idea of ​​modern ranching.

“Instead, they wanted grazing reserves in various states as they deceptively pursued Othman Dan Fodio’s ideology of conquering the whole of Nigeria.

“IPOB once again appeals to all Governors in the Southern region, especially the Governors of the Eastern region, not to carry out burning that could wipe out their future generations by ignoring the demands of the Miyetti Allah terrorist group to obtain reserve grazing land.

“IPOB will reject any form of land grabbing, demographic change and ideology of conquest under whatever guise. What we are saying is that there will be no grazing reserve for the Miyetti Allah terrorist group in Biafra Land,” IPOB said.
