Iranian authorities on Wednesday executed others who were sentenced to death because of their involvement in the mass protests that hit the country in 2022.
The man was identified as Abbas Kurkuri from the southwest city of Izeh.
The Mizan news agency affiliated with the state reported that he was sentenced in April 2023 for “fighting against God” in line with the Islamic jurisprudence.
The justice found that he had been an angle behind the “riots” in his city.
He was accused of killing several people during protests.
At that time, the mother of one of the suspected victims, a 10 -year -old boy, blamed the security forces.
The verdict sparked anger in Iran and abroad in the midst of doubts that were getting bigger over the mistakes of Kurkuri.

The 10 -year death in mid -November 2022 also caused national anger.
His family challenged the official account in an interview with media opposition.
Until now, at least 11 people have been executed in connection with mass protests carried out under the rubric “Women, Life, Freedom.”
It erupted after death in Mahsa Amini’s detention after he was arrested for not wearing his head properly.
His death released the strongest protest waves in Iran for decades.
