Iran vs Nigeria: Okoye, Ndidi, Lookman lead Super Eagles from starting XI


Nigeria have revealed their starting line-up for their international friendly against Iran, with goalkeeper Stanley Okoye named as the starter in goal.

The Super Eagles line-up features a mix of experienced internationals and emerging talent, with Wilfred Ndidi in midfield and Ademola Lookman expected to play a key role in attack.

Defensively, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi and Ogbu are listed among the starters, while Chukwueze and Moses Simon provide the attacking width alongside striker Akor Adams.

Okoye, Osayi, Ndidi, Ogbu, Ajayi, Lookman, Akor, Chukwueze, Onyemaechi, Simon, Iwobi.

Coach Eric Chelle has also named a strong bench of substitutes, including Francis Uzoho, Zaidu Sanusi, Raphael Onyedika and Paul Onuachu, offering multiple options across defence, midfield and attack.

Adebayo, Uzoho, Sanusi, Onyeka, Dele Bashiru, Otelle, Ejuke, Fernandez, Umole, Onuachu, Nwadike, Nwaiwu, Sor.

The match will begin on Friday at 2pm Nigerian time.
