The Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) has announced the establishment of a dedicated artificial intelligence division (AI) within its Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), marking a significant step in the modernization of the electoral process of Nigeria.

In a declaration issued on Thursday, signed by Sam Olumekun, in the National Commissioner of the Inc, revealed that the decision was made during his regular weekly meeting was held on the same day.
