The 21-year-old provided the assist for Dwight McNeil that gave Everton the lead in the 53rd minute.
Commenting on Iroegbunam’s performance, whoscored.com wrote: “Alongside Eze in midfield is Everton youngster Tim Iroegbunam, whose inclusion is invaluable. Indeed, Iroegbunam provided the assist for Dwight McNeil’s opening goal in the Toffees’ 3-0 win over Doncaster, and that assist came from one of two key passes, as well as contributing 11 tackles and seven dribbles in a superb performance.”
In June 2024, Iroegbunam joined Everton for a fee reportedly in the region of £9 million, signing a three-year contract.
He made his debut for the Toffees during the opening game of the Premier League season, a 3–0 home defeat to Brighton on 17 August 2024.
Iroegbunam is a product of West Bromwich Albion’s academy and spent the 2022-23 season on loan at EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
He also played for England at both under-19 and under-20 level, winning the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the former in 2022.
