Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow: What we know about US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities | World News

There are many that are still unknown about US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Reports come about which sites to be beaten and what military elements are involved, such as President Donald Trump Adding attacks on social media.

This is what we know so far.

Which site is beaten?

America seems to have reached three main locations in the Iranian nuclear program.

They include Isfahan, a significant research basis location, and Uranium enrichment facilities in Natanz and Fordow.

Natanz is believed to have been damaged in the Israeli strike after the bomb disrupted the power to the Centrifuge hall, might destroy the engine indirectly.

But the facilities in Fordow, which was buried about 80 meters under the mountain, had previously escaped large damage.

Details of damage to US attacks are not yet known, even though Mr Trump said three sites had been “eliminated”.

What weapons are used in the attack?

The White House and Pentagon did not immediately explain the operation, but a US official said the heavy bomber B-2 was involved.

Host Fox News, Sean Hannity said he had spoken with the President and that six buster bunker bombs were used in the Fordow facility.

The buster bunker bomb is designed to explode twice. One time to violate the surface of the ground and once again the bomb digs to a certain depth.

Israel has several in its weapons but does not have a much stronger GBU-57, which can only be launched from B-2 bomber and first believed to be the only bomb that is able to violate Fordow.

Hannity said 30 Tomahawk missiles fired by US 400 mile submarines hit the Iranian nuclear site Natanz and Isfahan.
