Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, on Tuesday, stated that Israel would retaliate against Iran’s recent missile attack, saying “This attack will have consequences. We have a plan, and we will operate where and when we decide.”
The attack, which occurred on Tuesday, caused Iran to launch a barrage of missiles at Israel, and the Israeli military managed to intercept a large number of missiles.
According to Hagari, “We have made a large number of interceptions. There have been several attacks in the center and other areas in the south of the country.” Iran’s attack marks the second direct attack on Israel since April, and has sparked widespread condemnation from the international community.

US Vice President Kamala Harris also spoke out against the attack, stating “I condemn this attack in the strongest terms.” Harris emphasized that Iran’s actions demonstrate its status as a “destabilizing and dangerous force in the Middle East.”
Iran’s attack was seen as retaliation for Israel’s killing of top Iranian military officials, including Hassan Nasrallah and Ismail Haniyeh. Iran’s ultimate goal is to eliminate the Jewish state, and the regime openly calls for Israel’s extermination.
