The Israeli strikes at the Nasser hospital in Gaza killed no less than 15 people, including four journalists, one of whom worked for Reuters, Monday 25 August 2025.
Palestinian health officials confirmed the killings on Monday.
The Hussam Al-Masri Cameraman, a Reuters contractor, was killed in the first strike, according to officials.
Photographer Hatem Khaled, who was also a Reuters contractor, was injured in a second strike, said the officials.
The Israeli army and the prime minister’s office had no immediate comments on the strikes.
Witnesses said that the second strike took place after the rescue workers, journalists and other people rushed to the initial attack site.
The live video feed of Reuters from the hospital, which was managed by Masri, suddenly closed at the time of the initial strike, showed the Reuters movie.
Health officials in Gaza have appointed three other journalists such as Moriam Abu Dagga, Mohammed Salama and Moaz Abu Taha.
They added that even a rescuer was among those killed.
More than 240 Palestinian journalists have been killed by the Israeli fire in Gaza since the war began on October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian journalist Syndicate.
