Daniel Smejkal, agent of the players of the Czech Republic, has praised what he believes is the growing quality of talent talent and the triptych skill that Nigerian players express the young Nigerians.

Although many Nigerian fans and analysts are still regretting the 1-1 draw of the Super Eagles with Zimbabwe in Uyo, which gave doubt the 2026 World Cup qualification in doubt, Smejkal said he always enjoys football when he visits the country.
He used this year’s youth soccer exploration competition matches in Lagos, Jagaban Cup, as a reference point and told Sports247 emphatically that young people who have seen in action so far are exhibiting very improved performances than what he saw last year.
Smejkal revealed: “This second experience is the same as my first experience, but I have been in Nigeria many times. On the quality of the players, perhaps my feeling is that they are getting up more and more.
“I have seen improvements in some tactics, and everything is no longer like street football. It is now technically guided football with coaches and some experienced types.”
The exuberant explorer and youth soccer developer revealed that the last time he came through the Jagaban Cup, he was able to detect four good players and linked them to the best clubs in Europe, but he hopes to obtain more talents in the current edition this year.
“The last time here, we talked about some players that we would give contracts. Now I can talk about four of them that we take to Europe and believe that they can go this year more. The level is fine, in reality, and I am enjoying my time here in Nigeria.
“It is with the purpose of exploring for talented young players. My trip to Nigeria is always enjoying good football and finding some good players. I hope to get three or four younger players who join others in Europe,” Syjkal was excited.
