You can access JAMB Admission List website using a computer connected to the Internet or your browser mobile phone as long as you have data on it. See the appropriate method for how to do this below.

Successfully admitted candidates it is advisable to:

  • Log in to their JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
Recommended: How to reject/accept your admission on JAMB CAPS.
  • Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting admission. This will be required during authorization and registration.
  • Print out their original JAMB result slip (this comes with a passport photograph affixed to it).
  • Request a change of course on the JAMB portal in case they are offered different courses than they originally applied for.

What to do if your JAMB admission status shows “Not yet admitted”

Not yet admitted? If yes, please note the following:

1. Log in to JAMB CAPS to check the upload of your O’level results.

It is important to check whether your O’level result has been uploaded to the JAMB portal or not. Because failure to upload your O’level result may affect your JAMB admission status.

  1. Log in to your JAMB profile (https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility_/)
  2. Click on “Check Admission Status”,
  3. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
  4. Click on “My O’level” to confirm if your O’level is uploaded. Alternatively, visit a nearby accredited JAMB CBT center to download your O’level result. Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status in CAPS indicates ‘Waiting for result’.

2. Check to see if you have been recommended for transfer to another program.

Based on the JAMB CAPS Implementation Policy, institutions are entitled to consider certain candidates for transfer from the program of choice to another program due to UTME and O’level combinations.

Applicants should monitor their admission by following the ac instructions above, then click on the “Transfer Approval” link to see if they are recommended for transfer to another program. You must either accept or refuse this transfer consideration. If you accept, your first choice institution may admit you to the new program. If you decline, you will remain in your preferred course/program. The transfer of the program will not be carried out.

3. You have applied for the JAMB UTME with the result pending.

Candidates who used ‘waiting for the result’ when registering must upload their O’Level result to the JAMB portal for the institution of their choice to process their admission. Direct entry applicants, including JUPEB students, must also upload their A’level and O’level results to avoid disqualification. This is to allow screening officers to determine their qualifications for admission. Recommended: How to Upload O’Level Result to JAMB Portal/Profile.
