Jigawa University expelled 20 people due to exam malpractice

The Senate of the Federal University, Dutse has approved the expulsion of 20 students for examination malpractices.

The agency also expelled 15 other people from the village for the same reason.

This was stated by the Director of Academic Affairs of the university, Nora Dannatta, in a statement issued by the Director of Public Affairs, Abdullahi Hahaha-Bello, Wednesday in Dutse.

This action, according to his statement, follows up on the recommendation of the Senate Committee regarding Violations in the Second Semester Examination for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

“The Senate also approved the release of two students and written warnings to three other students.

“The decision is in accordance with the categories of offenses and penalties governing undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

“And those affected come from various faculties and departments at the university,” the statement added.
