Mikel explained that Osimhen was really eager to join a particular club and did everything he could to make this happen. “It is necessary to tell the truth because Victor Osimhen has received a lot of criticism for this because people do not know the details of what happened.

“Victor wanted to come to the club and had to give up a lot to reach an agreement,” Mikel said. This comment reveals that Osimhen made significant concessions during the negotiations, which contradicts the perception that he was only motivated by economic interest.

According to Mikel, the negotiations reached an agreement on important points, such as salary and other conditions, but some minor details could not be finalized, which prevented the agreement from being finalized.

“We reached an agreement regarding the salary and what he wants. There were just a few minor details here and there that we couldn’t finalize,” Mikel added.

Mikel also called on Nigerians and Osimhen’s supporters to stand by the player during these difficult times. He expressed his frustration over the unfounded criticism directed at Osimhen and urged the community to come together to support him.

“After hearing all that nonsense about Victor being greedy, a lot of people talking bad about him, no, I think it’s time, especially Nigerians, it’s time for us to support him. It’s time for people around him, Nigerian friends and fans, whoever, to support him, because that’s what he needs,” Mikel passionately stated.

His words highlight the importance of solidarity and understanding within the football community.

Victor Osimhen’s performance on the pitch continues to shine despite criticism off it. He has been a key player for both his club and the Nigerian national team.

His resilience and dedication to the sport are evident in his recent performances, including important goals in international matches and impressive displays in domestic leagues.

As Osimhen navigates the complexities of his career, the support of fans and the football fraternity will be key.

Mikel’s defense of Osimhen not only clears up misconceptions, but also serves as a reminder of the pressures athletes face beyond the court.

With continued support, Osimhen is poised to overcome these challenges and continue his upward trajectory in the world of football.
