Jojo opens a goal account while the warriors have fleeting stars in Maiduguri

Flying Eagles midfielder from Nigeria, Alabi Sulaiman Jojo, has scored his first NPFL goal.

Alabi scored in the 81st rescue point for the Elkanemi warriors in his 2-2 draw with fleeting stars of Ibadan.

The team based in Maiduguri, under the tutelage of coach Aliyu Zubairu, had to recover in the game after granting 2 goals before.

The star heroic performance of the Flying Eagles applauded widely in the game, helping the local team recovered a draw in an important game.

Speaking after the match, Alabi expressed his delight to score his first NPFL goal, saying that it is a dream come true.

“I am very happy to have set an important goal for my team. It’s a dream come true”

Alabi, who was part of the Nigeria Flying Eagles team that won the Wafu-B Championship last October, said his main objective is to continue helping the team.

“My main objective is to continue helping the team with my teammates. I think we will end up stronger at the end of the season,” he said.

It is Alabi’s first season at the NPFL. He was part of the historical team of the Warriors Elkanemi that obtained the NPFL promotion of the NNL and also won the Nigerian FA Cup (Federation President’s Cup) last season.
