Jordan Henderson enjoys PL’s return, talks about the Onyeka relationship and the future in training

International England, Jordan Henderson He has expressed his delight when he returned to the Premier League, describing it as the best league in the world.

Speaking exclusively with Brila.net, the former Liverpool captain said that returning to England felt like the right step in his career.

“I was very excited to return to the Premier League. Obviously, it is the best league in the world, so having the opportunity to return and play in it was one that I could not reject.”

“I have enjoyed being back, games, intensity, fans, atmospheres, everything has been incredible, just like when I played here before. So it’s good to return,” Henderson said.

Reflecting on life outside football, Henderson admitted that he never considered another way.

“If it weren’t football, what would I do? Honestly, I don’t know. That’s all I have thought since I was five or six years old. So I honestly have no idea.”

In repentance throughout his career, the 35 -year -old midfielder said he chooses to learn from each setback.

“I probably regret, but ultimately, I think you only regret something if you don’t learn from it. Every time I look back, I have tried to react in the right way, to become a better person. During life and through a career, you will have things you have done differently. But it is how you advance what matters.”

Looking towards life after football, Henderson revealed that training could be a possibility, but remains focused on playing for now.

“I want to play all the time I can. I still feel good physically. Of course, I know that that day will come, and it is something I have thought about. Training is an option, but I don’t want to look too far away.

“When the time comes, I will probably need a break, but football has been a large part of my life, and I will probably remain involved in some capacity.”

In his physical attributes and his registered career style, Henderson accredited natural aptitude.

“Fortunately, I have always been in a very good shape. My career style is something that comes naturally, to grow when I was a child. It has put me in good condition to this point.”

Henderson also talked warmly about his Brentford teammate and the midfielder of the Super Eagles, Frank Onyaka, praising his character and his contribution.

“Frank is a great guy. He has helped me since I came here, both inside and outside the field. He is a very good player who always contributes when he plays. I think it has been important for the team and I admire the role he has played.”

Henderson has appeared in the five Premier League games for the London team this season.

Brentford continues his campaign at home to Manchester United on Saturday.
