JUST IN: Minister of Science, Uche Nnaji, resigns over certificate forgery story

The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, has resigned from his post.

Nnaji is under intense scrutiny over alleged forgery of his University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) degree certificate.

He is one of 28 ministers appointed by President Bola Tinubu in September 2023.

The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
