Justice Odili for President of the NeapS 2025 Consultative Committee

The organizers of the Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service (Naeps) announced the retired justice of the Nigeria Supreme Court, the judge Mary Odili, as president of his advisory committee for the 2025 edition of the prizes.

Neaps announced it through a declaration issued by its founder, Mariam Mohammed, Sunday 22 June 2025.

The service also announced a deputy director at the office of the secretary to the government of the Federation (OSGF), Mr. Ako Abbah, as secretary of the NEPS 2025 consultative committee.

Other members of the Naep 2025 consultative committee are the Senior partner of Yemi Candide-Johnson (San), Strachan partners; Ibrahim Hadejia, deputy chief of staff of the president, the presidency; Shaka Momod, publisher, newspaper of this day; Stella Din Jacob, news director, TVC News; Musikilu Mojeed, editor -in -chief, premium times; and Yemi Adbowale, journalist/editorialist and president/CEO Storkgate and Associates.

Mohammed said: “The Naep 2025 consultative committee, which includes leader of prominent of various sectors, has been assembled to ensure that the prizes continue to reflect the highest standards of transparency, merit, inclusiveness and national relevance. Its role is decisive in maintaining prestige and credibility of the prizes.

“The office of the secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF), continues to collaborate with the best strategic pr (TBS) for annual Neap Awards.

“Once in his third year, Naeps provides a national recognition platform that celebrates individuals and institutions that demonstrate exceptional performance, integrity and innovation in public service.

“It also promotes a culture of responsibility, inspires ethical leadership and highlights the efforts that contribute significantly to national development and the common good.

“Through these prizes, the Naeps encourage the best practices of governance and public administration and promotes the trust of the public to honor those who showed a measurable impact at the service of the nation.”

The Maiden Edition of the Neaps Awards was held at the Conference Center of the State House in Abuja in October 2022 he honored 44 Nigerians, with the then president Muhammadu Buhari who presented the prizes.
