Kwara United’s midfielder, Kabiru Mohammed, praised the impact of Super Eagles B, Eric Chelle coach, after a rigorous training session, since Nigeria intensified the preparations for the African Nations Championship (Chan) of 2025.
Speaking during a session with the eagles at home, Kabiru highlighted Chelle’s tactical demands.
“We have a good philosophy, and his game (from Chelle) was very intense,” Kabiru said. “He likes aggressive players who are good in the ball and press when they are not in possession. It was a very good session with him.”
The appearance of Nigeria in Chan 2025 will be the first since it reached the final in 2018, where they suffered a 4-0 defeat against the Moroccan hosts.
After missing the last two editions, the Super Eagles B team is determined to make a strong return in the continental stage.
Nigeria will begin its campaign against the Senegal defenders in Group D on August 5.
