Kaduna Catholic Priest who was kidnapped gained freedom again

A kidnapped priest who was responsible for the Qausi Santo Gerald Catholic Parish in the Regional Government of Kauru in the State of Kaduna, Rev. Fr. Ibrahim Amos, has regained his freedom.

The priest was kidnapped by bandits at his residence on Thursday morning.

Chancellor of Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, Pastor Fr. Jacob Shanet, confirmed the release of Imam in a statement on Friday at Kafanchan.

He said Amos was released by his kidnapper around 10:00, on Thursday.

The Chancellor thanked the security agents and the community for their prayers and showed extraordinary concern after the incident.
