Kaduna will host the third edition of the Week of Nigerian Public Relations 2026

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has officially assigned hosting rights for the 3rd week of Nigerian public relations (NPRW) 2026 in the state of Kaduna.

The announcement was made by the President and President of the Nipr Government Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, during the closing ceremony of the 2025 NPRW held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

A declaration by the President of the Chapter of the State of Nipr Kaduna, Haroun Malami, said that the one -week event will take place from Monday 20 April to Saturday 25 April 2026.

The NPRW brings together public relations professionals, media professionals, communication strategists, thought leaders and interested parties in the sector to explore emerging trends, share innovative practices and deliberated on the role of public relations in national development.

He said that the decision to host the 2026 edition in Kaduna underlines the reputation of the chapter as Hub leader for the excellence of public relations in northern Nigeria. It also reflects the commitment of the government of the state of Kaduna to advance the profession and support the initiatives that promote positive perception, strategic communication and the construction of the nation.

“We are honored to be selected as the presenter of this event of reference. Kaduna has a rich story of hosting high impact national events and we are confident that NPRW 2026 will set a new point of reference in terms of flow, participation and impact”, added Malami.

Over 2,000 participants from all over Nigeria and beyond should participate in the 2026 event. High level plenaries, interactive seminars, exhibitions, networking opportunities and cultural windows will contain. In addition to its professional meaning, the event is expected to provide a significant economic thrust in the state of Kaduna, in particular in the sectors of hospitality, tourism, transport and the local company.

The first week of Nigerian public relations was held in Abokuta, in the state of Ogun, in 2024, while the second edition recently ended took place in Uyo, in the state of Akwa Ibom.
