Kano Debunks Civil Service Commission on Manpower Form Sales Report

The Kano State Civil Service Commission has denied reports on the sale of application forms for work.

Director of the Commission Public Enlightenment, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai, who made clarification in a statement on Sunday, said the report was wrong, baseless, and misleading.

Yakasai urged community members to only rely on official government channels for authentic information regarding recruitment and activities related to other commissions, emphasizing that all announcements were released exclusively through approved platforms.

“The commission wants to tell the general public that there is no time to endorse any application form for recruitment to state civil service. This claim is entirely incorrect and must be ignored as a whole.

“For credible and official information about the activities of the commission, the public is advised to always follow the communication channel approved by the government or visit the Office of the Kano State Civil Service Commission at the Bako Audu Secretariat, Kano,” said Yakasai.

He repeated the commitment of the commission to transparency, accountability, and legal process in every recruitment exercise, while warning that anyone who was caught committed fraud with the guise of the commission would be demanded in accordance with the law.

He also appealed to the population of the state and job seekers to remain vigilant and avoid dealing with fraudsters who exploited innocent people who were not suspicious.
