Kenneth Okonkwo offers ADC to shift Tinubu in 2027

A former member of the Labor Party, Kenneth Okonkwo, has stated the belief that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will shift the Tinubu Bola President in the 2027 General Election.

Okonkwo stated this during the appearance on the Sunrise Daily television channel on Monday.

He refused a suggestion that the party must be assessed based on his performance in the election of August 16.

In a poll conducted in 16 constituents in 12 states, ADC failed to secure one seat, while all the progressive congress (APC) won 12 seats in the national and state assembly.

Apart from this setback, Okonkwo stated that the party’s prospects remain strong.

“We have the opportunity in every election in Nigeria,” he stressed, adding that the 2027 election would function as a true test of the party under the new leadership of the former Senate President, David Mark.

“We will form the next government in Nigeria and send Tinubu to Bourdillon,” said Nollywood actor.

In the party structure, Okonkwo insisted that ADC is now strongly established in 36 federation states.

He also identified the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as the main party figure in the state of Rivers.
