Keyamo revealed Airlines plans to make IBOM air passengers an ambassador

Minister of Aerospace and Development of Aerospace, Festus Keyamo has revealed that the operator of the Nigerian airline (AON) plans to make the comfort of Emmanson, a woman at the center of behavior that cannot be regulated on the IBOM aircraft from Uyo in Akwa Ibom to Lagos on Sunday, August 10, 2025 Duri Good Ibom.

Keyamo made this known at a post on the official X platform on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

This follows a similar plan by the Federal Nigerian airport authority to make King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1) Ambassador for Aviation Safety (AVSEC).

Both individuals, Kwam 1 and Comfort Emmanson have been in the middle of two incidents related to flights in the past week.

Kwam 1 was involved in a fight with the security of the airport and the ValueJet crew at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 where he stood in front of an airplane that prevented him off while Aon was slammed with a ban on Sunday, on August.

Clarifying the role of the Ambassador, Keyamo notes that this is a common practice throughout the world where the perpetrators who were converted were made to preach in public on the right behavior from which he had converted.

He clarified further that the position did not come with any financial benefits.

“This is similar to community service. Not paid and this is a voluntary service. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, some people will assume that once you hear the word ‘Ambassador’ it is a big position that comes with Perquisit of Office.

“No, no. This is free. This is not the first time that has happened in Nigeria and that is not the last.

“Examples of many roles given to people who repent by the previous government in Nigeria.

“While flight agents are considering using KWAM 1 for such a role, in my discussion last night with the Nigerian airline operator (AON), they also searched for the choice to use MS. Comfort Emmanson, who also showed regret, as their own ambassador for good passenger behavior.

“Remaining for Aon to do the details because he was really freed from prison prisoners today based on my previous statement.

“While the usual suspects can continue to question our decision on this issue, we are sure we have been fair to all,” he wrote.
