The absence of legal counsel, EA Inegbenoiseon, on Wednesday stopped the trial of a travel agent, Frank Solomon, for the alleged N4.7 million fraud in the Wuse Magistrates II court zone, Abuja.

Police accuse Solomon with violations of trust and fraud.

At the continued trial, legal counsel, Emmanuel Kanwi, said that the problem was for a cross -examination from the first witness, but was told that the legal counsel was sick.

He said: “The prosecutor’s advisor said he was in the hospital, but did not communicate which hospital, also did not recommend a date for delay.”

Judge, Abubakar Jega, postponed this problem until July 17 for the continuation of the trial.

The prosecutor accused that the complainant, Friday Attaboh, reported the problem through a petition to the Police Commissioner on April 11, 2023.
