Before the expected visit of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Auduaghan in his hometown to Okne, the government of the State of Kogi issued a restriction on the “unauthorized movement” and asked that any convoy of people who entered the State to obtain permission from the law agencies.

Fanwo’s declaration states in full: “The government of the state of Kogi remains unrivaled in its commitment to protect the life and ownership of all residents and ensure that the state remains a cautious peace and security. In light of credible intelligence credits, the government has deemed it necessary to take proactive measures to prevent any form of violation of security that could destabilize the state.
“It is moving to note that the state has witnessed a peaceful save, however, some threats to security are threatening the peace of the state.
