The Kogi State House of Assembly on Friday passed the 2024 supplementary budget of N58.8 billion.
This follows the article-by-article consideration of the request of Governor Usman Ododo by the Committee of the Whole during its plenary session in Lokoja.
The governor in his letter to the House said additional budget was needed for the implementation of projects in the state.
In his remarks, House Speaker Umar Yusuf said the approval of the supplementary budget would allow the government to fund newly formed institutions in the state.
