KRC Genk get Arokodare boost amid interest from Trabzonspor

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has expressed his intention to remain at KRC Genk, despite ongoing transfer rumours linking him with a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Arokodare, who has scored four goals this season, is the focus of interest for Trabzonspor.

However, negotiations stalled after the player demanded an annual salary of €2 million, while Genk set a transfer fee of €10 million.

Responding to the speculation, Arokodare told Het Laatste Nieuws: “I have a contract with Genk and I am focused on this club, not on rumours. Where do I see my future? I am not clairvoyant. I have no idea, man.”

Genk signed the 22-year-old Nigerian striker last summer as a replacement for Paul Onuachu.
