KUWARA UTD, ABIA WARRIORS OUT OF CAF CONFED CUP

Nigeria’s side, Kwara United and Abia Warriors were equally eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup after the failure to advance from the first round.

Kwara United was destroyed after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko from Ghana at MKO Sports Arena, Abeokuta on Sunday.

The Harmony Boys, who had lost 4-3 in the first leg, finally lost the first preliminary round contest 5-3 aggregate.

Abia Warriors was also destroyed after losing 1-0 to Mali Club, Djoliba, who won the 2-1 contest aggregate.

Both clubs are Nigerian representatives in the competition. They have come out.
