Kwankwaso accused the Tinubu government to develop in the south, leaving the north

Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Thursday regretted that the administration of the Tinubu Bola President channeled state resources to develop the south harms the North.

The new Nigerian people’s leader (NNPP) states that this is in the dialogue of the stakeholder stakeholders regarding the 2025 constitutional amendment.

He also blamed the allocation of federal government resources between the two regions.

Kankwaso shows that the majority of roads in the north are in poor condition while the government focuses on developing southern infrastructure.

He appealed to the government to ensure the distribution of fair resources to all parts of the country.

The former governor said: “Let me tell those who struggle with all means to take everything to remember that some of the problems we have in this part of this country are currently related to the lack of sufficient resources and wrongly take care of the few entering.

“From the information available to us, it seems that most of the national budget is now tilting one -way in this country.

“That is why we have a sense of insecurity, we have poverty and so on. This happens here especially, but like a desert, it will go anywhere.

“Yesterday, I would come with air, but unfortunately, my airline decided to divert our takeoff from 3:00 pm to 20:00, I had to come by road. From Abuja to Kaduna to Kano is hell. A very bad road. This is a road that began many years ago, directly from the beginning of APC leadership.

“Now, we are told that there is a road from south to east. We support infrastructure everywhere in this country and other good things for the masses.

“But the situation in which the government takes our resources and discard it in one part of the country and other parts of the country is left alone, I do not believe it is the right thing to do by the government itself.

“This is the time for the government to change, convincing our people that the government is not only on the one hand.”
