Kwankwaso denied the planned defense report to APC

Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has denied the rumors that he had completed plans to defect to the Congress of all progressive (APC) in power, or made comments supporting any political arrangement in the country.

Kwankwaso, who made the rejection in a statement he posted on his X -grip, reacts to a media report that allegedly quoted him said that the President of the Tinubu Ball personally had reached him several times, offering guarantees and favorable conditions to rejoin with the ruling party.

The reports also said that Kwankwaso had rejected the offer, citing the principles and worries that were rooted in such political alliances.

The reports also stated that Kwankwaso’s comments emerged after he labeled the defectors to APC as a traitor and traiter of trust after the defector of the Senator Abdulrahman Kawu who represented the South Senatorial District Kano in the National Assembly, to the APC, along with several other Federal Parliament members from the State of Kano.

But when he denied the statement credited to him, former Governor Kano said at that time he made any statement related to the ongoing political development.

“My attention has been directed at the statement that is said to have stated my position in the repeated political arrangement in Nigeria,” he wrote.

“I want to categorize that such statements are wrong, unfounded, and products from political damage.

“I have refrained from commenting on contemporary political events, and I will continue to do it for now.

“In this case, I urge the community to only be involved with statements that come from my public grip and other official sources,” he said.
