Kwankwaso hasn’t closed the door on APC Return – Jibrin

A member of the House of Representatives for the Kiru/Bebeji Kano state constituents, Abdulumin Jibrin, said on Wednesday that the former Governor of Rabiu Kwankwaso had not discarded the idea of ​​joining all the Progressive Congress (APC).

Rumors of the former change to APC obtained land in June after the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje as the National Party Chairperson.

There is also a report that the President of the Tinubu Bola has decided to elect the new Nigeria Party Chief (NNPP) as his partner in the 2027 election.

But the Nigerians began to doubt the authenticity of the claim when Kwankwaso accused Tinubu administration of ignoring the North in its development program.

Jibrin, a member of NNPP, spoke on the television program Channels, Politics Today.

He said there was an opportunity for NNPP presidential candidates in the 2023 election to join President Tinubu at APC.

He stressed that the former Kawkwasiyya Governor’s movement was a strong group that could not be removed in the country’s political permutation.

“As far as APC concerns, he (Kwankwaso) always states that the door is open. Our door is open for discussion. Everything is a possibility,” said Jibrin.
