Kwara United Football Club has reinforced her team with 18 new signings before the 2025/26 season of the Premier Football League (NPFL).
The newcomers include 7 attackers, 4 midfielders, 5 defenders and 2 goalkeepers, all recruited to give Harmony a stronger competitive advantage in the next campaign.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the president of the club, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, represented by General Manager Bashir Badawiy, praised the unwavering support for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and the Sports Commission of the state of Kwara, emphasizing that the team is “ready for the battle for the task that advances.”
Badawiy revealed that 13 players started from the team with mutual consent without financial obligations, while 14 were held and 18 new insured additions. He pointed out that the club focused on recruiting quality players to strengthen all team departments.
While reiterating zero tolerance of the NPFL for bets and misconduct, Badawiy said that Kwara United players are fully aware of the sanctions and promised to maintain the ethics of the league. He also expressed his gratitude to interested parties and appealed for sustained support.
