Lagos issued a traffic advisor before the preliminary selection of the local council APC

The Lagos state government has issued a traffic advisor ahead of the preliminary election of all progressive (APC) Saturday for the election of local councils in the state.

Commissioner of State Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday at Lagos.

According to Osiyemi, the driver will not be able to access the acme road from Adeniyi Jones, Lateef Jakande and ACME Crescent end during that period.

He said: “The entire stretch of ACME road will be closed for the vehicle movement during the preliminary selection.

“As a result, motorists must use the following alternative routes: Those who come from Adeniyi Jones must connect Aromire to access Allen Junction and continue their journey.

“Likewise, motorists who come from Allen are advised to use Aromire to connect Ladipo Oluwole and access Guinness to achieve the intended goal.

“The driver who came from Akilo Road will also be able to connect Wemco Road, connect Lateef Jakande, or proceed to Omole to complete their trip.”

He urged community members to plan their movements before Saturday.

“If you do not have an urgent business or need around the acme road axis, please consider avoiding the area to facilitate movement and reduce congestion.

“Officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be on land to manage vehicle movements along the affected corridor,” added the Commissioner.
