Lagos: LP holds LGA Primary on Friday, adopting indirect mode

The Labor Party in Lagos has set Friday for the preliminary selection of leadership in the state.

The head of the prison in the state, Father Dayo Ekong, revealed this to journalists on Thursday in Lagos.

He said the preliminary election would be held in various fields of council.

The chairman added that the party would adopt a delegation -based fashion (indirect) to elect its candidates for local elections on July 12 in 20 local government regions and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAS).

Ekong said: “Our companion selection will be detained today (Thursday) in all wards, while the preliminary selection of leadership will be held on Friday in all regions of the local government.

“We are committed to the main selection that is free, fair, and transparent.

“We are sure of good sightseeing in the election.”
