Lagos PDP Sanwo-Olu Score Lowest Transparency, Rural Development

The Democratic Party of the People (PDP) in the state of Lagos has printed the Governor of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Administration is low in transparency, accountability, and rural development.

Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Lagos Central, Hakeem Olalemi, assessed the Governor’s performance in the last two years in a chat with journalists on Friday.

Olalemi, however, assessed that Sanwo-Olu was high in infrastructure development.

He said: “Sanwo-Olu’s second term in the office is a little better than the first term because this time, there is a focus on infrastructure development.

“However, the problem we experienced with administration is that it is not transparent enough. We judge that he is low in transparency and accountability.

“Whenever the government gives a contract, is the right of citizens to find out what values ​​and details.

“The government must be more transparent in dealing with the people.”

He urged the governor to focus on developing rural areas to ensure equitable distribution of wealth in the state.

The PDP chief stressed that the impact of government must be felt in rural and urban areas.

“There must be an effort determined to take lives in rural areas.

“If you go to some of these rural areas, you will see that development has avoided them. He must work more about this and become more transparent,” Olalemi added.
