Last minute news: the president of NSC gathers football followers clubs

The president of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko, has requested the unity among Nigeria football club clubs, emphasizing that a collective front is crucial for the success of the national team, particularly in obtaining a World Cup ticket.

Speaking in his office while welcoming an amalgam of the main football supporters of the country, Dikko used a powerful analogy to emphasize the importance of the Union.

“If you stand out brooms, you could break them so easily after each other. But when you together like a group, you can’t break the broom, ”he said.

The delegation, led by Mr. Vincent Okumagba, informed the president about his decision to harmonize the various followers clubs after a meeting convened by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

They expressed their commitment to reserve differences and work together for the greater good of Nigerian football.

Dikko urged groups to intensify their efforts to form a unique united body, noting that their collective support was essential for the success of national teams.

“You must meet and work as a group so that we can achieve the desired objective. When we are all working towards the same objective, success is guaranteed, ”he said.

With the qualification of the Super Eagles World Cup in the line, the president of NSC reminded the delegation of the urgent task that is coming.

“Our task is now to make sure we get that World Cup ticket. What is the advantage of the house when the followers are not behind you as a single group? We need to join and sing with one voice to give our players the advantage of the house they need. ”

Dikko reassured followers clubs about the complete support of the commission in his search to meet behind the national team.

“We in the commission, myself, my DG and the staff, we are supporting and applying this movement to have a unified group. We are here to provide any support you need from us, ”he concluded.
