A former Attorney General Federation and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malam, on Wednesday resigned from the Congress of All Progressive (APC).
The former AGF resigned from the ruling party a few hours after the opposition coalition led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar launched the executive committee while for the adopted platform, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The duo of the former Senate president, David Mark and former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, were elected as chairman and secretary of their respective parties at the meeting held in Abuja.
A former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on the previous Wednesday resigned from APC and joined ADC.
In a statement in Abuja, night announced the transition to the ADC.
He described ADC as the party’s choice for a coalition that was committed to attracting Nigeria back from the threshold of destruction.

“Inequity has taken over our house, especially in the north.
“Banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism have become part of our lives while the government prioritizes politics rather than the security of its citizens.
“Our economy is a mess. Poor people can no longer feed their families. Work disappears.
“Instead of focusing on real solutions, the government is consumed by propaganda and political disorders,” said former AGF.
