Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher believes the Reds are strong enough to overcome Ipswich ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash.
Kelleher said the pre-season games had prepared the team for the task against Ipswich.
“I think it came quickly, as it usually does.
“We had a good preseason. We came back from the United States with a lot of confidence with the results we had there and then we saw other players returning who had done a great job in their international tournaments. Having them back has also given us confidence.”

“So after having the whole team back last week, we’ve been working hard on a few things and we’re full of confidence and ready to go.”
“I think the most important thing is to get minutes and come out without injuries, which is what we’ve done,” Kelleher said. Liverpoolfc.com.
“The manager has also hinted that we need to win, so I think we have had a good run of results against good opponents. This gives us momentum to face the first game of the new season full of energy and confidence.”
